Getting Around in Bangkok

📍Bangkok, Thailand 🇹🇭

Skipping ahead to 2018, Jordan and I went to Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam for our honeymoon, and it was one of the best trips we have ever taken. We fell in love with the people, culture, and above all, the food!

Our second stop on the trip was Bangkok, a city that overwhelmed me with hustle and bustle, yet so full of peaceful retreats in their many, many Buddhist temples.

When we travel, we try to walk as much as possible, often averaging around 12-15 miles per day, soaking up the city and taking in the sights. Bangkok was not that way for us. Don't get me wrong, we still walked a LOT, but that city is huge! We took the Sky Train, or the BTS, and took tuk tuks every now and then, and even took motorbike taxis one time (and lived to tell the story).

Bangkok is an amazing city - there is so much to see and do, and everyone is so welcoming. I'm so glad we got a little taste of it on our tour of Thailand.
